How the model reads against Chicago Blower's data

Fan power through the fan laws, one curve per fan from a US multi-rating table3 760 cells over 19 fans; none withheldevery cell's BHP within 2 % plus half the step it is printed to (0.005 BHP, 0.05 on the sizes printed to the tenth; the worst at 0.86 of that band) and its speed within 0.38 %, read back by the solver's own fan-law solve; RMS 0.44 % on power over the 3 648 cells where half the printed step is at most 1 %. The pressure curve is fitted at degree 7, the least that holds every cell: these tables print each speed up to the fan's pressure peak, where degree 5 breaks 47 cells of eight sizes. The bulletin's own figures come back through the listings: its worked example (the 135 at 2 600 CFM and 3 in., 3 152 rpm on 2.39 BHP) and its quick-selection chart's pick of a 330 for 8 000 CFM at 2 in., the best static efficiency of every size whose printed 2 in. column spans the duty. The bulletin prints no motor, so a listing's input power rests on an assumed one: its BHP over the federal minimum efficiency of the smallest motor that carries its curve at its top speed, which the listing's name gives as assumed ("20 HP motor assumed" on the 182)

Listed from published data with the source named on every entry; a listing's figures are the manufacturer's, the model that runs them is ours. Solver results never depend on who has claimed what.
