How the model reads against Cambridge Air Solutions' data
| Direct gas-fired heaters against their maker's own capacity table: the heater model's sensible duty to a discharge target, its gas at the listing's efficiency | 43 printed cells; 13 listings | the manual's formula gives every cell within 0.14 % (the worst, the S800's 757 MBH at 3 500 cfm, is its airflow printed round). Listed at 0.92 of each row's input and its inlet airflow as printed — the table states its airflow at the blower's inlet density, which is how the model reads a heater's — the model burns every printed input within +0.18 % and discharges within 0.4 °F of 160 °F, each cell at its own inlet and airflow. What the model leaves out: a direct-fired burner puts its combustion water into the air it heats — 0.146 kg per kWh of gas from methane's stoichiometry, 3.9 g/kg on the supply at the 160 °F rating, four times what 0 °F air can hold — and the model carries none of it, so the supply's temperature, heat and gas are the table's and its moisture is the outdoor air's: a 3.5 °C dew point reads as −17.8 °C |

Listed from published data with the source named on every entry; a listing's figures are the manufacturer's, the model that runs them is ours. Solver results never depend on who has claimed what.
