Modelled from the manufacturer's published data — not verified by Baltimore Aircoil. Source: Baltimore Aircoil Product & Application Handbook volume VI, Series V engineering data — the model's own row (nominal tonnage, airflow in CFM, fan motor, dimensions) and the sheet's own rating note: a nominal ton is 3 USGPM of water cooled from 95 °F to 85 °F at a 78 °F entering wet-bulb temperature (docs/bac-source.json). The figures below come from this model run against that data; the manufacturer has not reviewed them. Are you Baltimore Aircoil? Claim this page.
CTI STD-201: the line, not this model — Baltimore Aircoil's Series V Open line is certified (validation C11B-92R07), but this model is not named in the disclosure that covers it, so nothing is claimed for it here: the disclosure says what it covers in its own title — the VT0 and VT1 Group A models — so the larger VT1 frames (VT1-550 upward) and the VT1-M and VT1-N groups are not in it, and nothing here says whether they are certified elsewhere. What the model of it reads against the maker's published tables is a separate question.

BAC's VT1-M840-R — a Series V cooling tower, 837 nominal tons (3680 kW): rated to cool 2520 USGPM of water from 95 to 85 °F at a 78 °F entering wet bulb on 75.1 m³/s of air, the maker's own printed airflow, and drawn at those flows with a forced-draft fan on the leaving air, where its nameplate cannot be counted twice against a certified point. Open fill: the water meets the air directly — Braun's enthalpy-basis tower model. The model derives the machine's NTU from that one certified point, so it reproduces the rated leaving water exactly and predicts nothing else — one point per model is an input, not a validation. Modelled from the manufacturer's published data — not verified by Baltimore Aircoil. Published as an example; the figures below are solved from this model.
Example2760–4600 kW coolingEUExample system. Published by HVAC Builder to show suppliers what their own page looks like. There is no company behind it and it is not a product offer — the specification is generic and the performance is solved from the model on this page.
Solved from this example's own model each time the page loads — the same numbers a supplier's page shows for their machine.
